As you enjoy the 4th of July weekend, I recommend studying up on America and how it came to be. Why? Because I’m a history major and huge nerd.  Last year I watched the HBO miniseries “John Adams” and it was excellent.  I’m pretty sure my wife is still mad at me for spending 7 hours watching that, but I’m pretty sure Thomas Jefferson went through the same thing….except I didn’t get one of my slaves pregnant. 

Here’s video of Kato blowing up a watermelon with fireworks.  Because America is awesome.

(Now I can understand why foreigners think we’re idiots.)
